Replacing send_arp with arping has been discussed on IRC before, a
decision on that is still outstanding. Up to Andrew and/or Dejan, I
would think.

Regardless, to answer your earlier question of whether IPaddr2 is
working correctly or not on CentOS 5, depends on how you look at it. :)
It is working in the sense that it actually does IP address failover and
gratuitous ARPs, it definitely needs fixing in the sense that it logs a
spurious and misleading error message in the process.
