[ClusterLabs] Heartbeat between two servers: Same Subnet

Dear Colleagues



If two Linux servers are protecting each other via Linux hear-beat, do the
both servers have to be in same subnet?


Does the constraint of the same subnet is imposed by Linux or the
application that is running on the top of Linux
