If the two nodes can reach each other then for the nodes it's fine to
use unicast instead of multicast.
However, a bigger issue could be the service on top of the system,
depending on the network (routing) layout.
If you do so because of some redundancy thinking, keep in mind that the
shared storage has to be redundant,too (in which case the SBD should be
redundant, too).
