Use both, set IPMI (iLO) to run first. When IPMI fencing succeeds, you
are 100% sure the node is off. With PDU fencing, you are only sure of
the outlets being off. If someone messed up the wiring, the node could
actually still be on (so strap down and label the cables!).

Also, if you have redundant networking, you can use IPMI on switch 1 and
PDUs on switch 2 for additional protection.
