Thank you Andrew.

This is what other people suggested. Currently I am running 1.0.8 coming with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Unfortunately I couldn't find a debian package of 1.0.10. Trying to compile from source gives me a lot of problems. Do you happen to know where I can get a debian package of the latest pacemaker or 1.0.10?

The policy engine is crashing.
I'd highly recommend updating to 1.0.10 as we've likely already fixed the issue.
