Thank you, that was really useful information! I really like the idea of
being able to limit merge requests to particular branches. One thing
I've thought would be nice for resource-agents would be to redirect
contributions to a special branch, because it's sometimes frustrating
that a request has to be groomed into acceptability by the submitter
without them knowing that it will ever be included. If there was a
"staging area" for contributions where the maintainers can help with
tweaking commit messages etc. for contributions that are going to be
accepted but need some work, that might get some things into the
repository that tend to get stuck with the github PR model.

The code review features sound useful as well, especially being able to
compare with previous versions. The github model of force pushing over
the last request really isn't great for tracking what's happening to a
pull request.
