IPaddr != IPaddr2,
ifconfig != ip (from the iproute package)

# this will list the addresses:
ip addr show 
# also try:
ip -o -f inet a s
man ip

If you want/need ifconfig to see those aliases as well, you need to
label them, i.e. add the parameter iflabel to your primitive.
