the code is correct, but the version is apparently set from the  
changelog (which used to be auto-generated for .debs but now can't be  
- for various boring reasons)

you caught me updating the packages (actually i was in the middle of  
fixing the debian builds specifically)
if you look again it should also have the 0.0.1 version too.

and if you look later today I'll have probably added a new entry to  
the changelog so that they have the correct/current version number.
